The building was built on Arabian foundations and has an entrance way with a shield above it; it is in the centre of the old town of Caceres, which was declared Patromony of Humanity. The Hotel dates back to the XIV century and was built for Diego Garcia de Ulloa, a Knight of the Santiago Ordain, and has a beautiful tower.
